As a child, nothing inspired me more than stories of strange beasts and distant lands. I always said when I grew up I wanted to be a wizard, and telling stories is the closest I’ve got so far (but maybe I’m just not grown up yet!) I studied drama at university, where I learnt to speak in a loud voice and gesticulate wildly to a professional level.

I started telling stories about a year ago, in the primary school where I work.  Since then I’ve been gathering as many tales as I can find and making up a few of my own to share with different audiences.  Working with children is a joyful experience and a true privilege.  I hope to pass on to others the love of stories I had as a child and continue the aeons old, universally human activity of storytelling.
